Twist n Turns make you realize that all this is not true and the real story is yet to come…
Now,just imagine… In one corner you have a firecracker script and a smashing actor like Leo on the other side… It’s bound to create magic!!! The way the story unfoldes is very unique…. You have flashes from the past running side by side… The director successfully manages to keep you on the edge of your seats till the very end… A special mention of Sir Ben Kingsley… He fits into the role of a strict Doctor perfectly… Hats-Off to the musical department,the background score is so strong that it simply sweeps you of the floor at certain ocassions…. 
Great story,Brillant Cinematography,an Average Screenplay and a powerful climax makes SHUTTER ISLAND, one of Scorsese’s best films till date…

REVIEW:My Name Is KHAN…

Watching the logo of 20th Century FOX at the begining of an Indian movie made me say, “WOW” …
MNIK is a movie which is not about relationships, it’s not about overcoming your fears,it’s definately not about loving your family… IT’S about HUMANITY!!!
It tells us that there are two type of people in the world… GOOD and BAD.But Rizwan Khan(SRK) is not only Good but also smart… very smart
STORYLINE: Rizwan Khan has Asparages Syndrome which makes him behave differently from normal people… He falls in love with Mandira(Kajol) and then marry’s her.Everything is happy-happy,but 9/11 incident,breaks their relationship. Now,Khan has to travel several hundred miles to meet the President of USA to save his marriage. The only thing he wants to tell Mr. President is… “MY NAME IS KHAN… And I’m not a terrorist!!!”
MNIK has a rock-solid script,beautiful and meaningful dialoges and an eye popping cinematography which matches the one in Hollywood…
SRK gives a sparkling performance which shows that he is no less than the Clooney’s,Pitt’s and Depp’s of the western world…
But hey!!! Being a SRK fan… I was a little dissapointed… The movie was way too long and exaggerated…
The screenplay was strictly average and editing was really BAD!!!
Music was fine… better listen it on your I PODS…
With a runtime of over 2 hours and 45 minutes… one prays that Rizwan Khan quickly meets the President so that we all can go home…lol
In short,MNIK works in parts… But when it works… It works bigtime… SRK is like GOD in some scenes…
No doubt… MNIK has some goosebumpy,lump-in-the-throat moments…
But on the whole,the movie had a typical Karan Johar touch… It gets over-emotional and melodramatic on several occasions…

Few days back… Karan Johar had confirmed the presence of ‘Obama ji’ in his latest SRK-Kajol starrer MNIK…
So guys, remember the date,12th February is when you get to see the Obama Bhai sharing screen with our heartthrob King Khan…
Now let’s get down to the script…
Rizwan Khan is a Muslim child who grew up with his ‘Ammi’ in the Borivali section of Mumbai. Rizwan has Asperger syndrome…matlab people with it show difficulties in social interaction and are low on self-confidence.As an adult,Rizwan(SRK) falls in love with a single mother,Mandira(Kajol) in Uncle Sam’s ‘Amerika’.
Further,the storyline explores the period afterwards 9/11.
At that time,authorities arrest and detain Rizwan, after interpreting the visible aspects of his condition as “suspicious” behavior.
Thereby…Rizwan then begins a journey to find and meet President Barack Obama in order to clear his name and to reunite with his family…
So guys…

My Review : ISHQIYA

I woke up super excited today,kept thinking about it throughout the day , was singing Dil To Baccha Hai Ji till the moment I went into the theater…
In short,I had great expectations from Ishqiya… But all my hopes,expectations and excitement had faded away when I came out after watching it…
Coming from Vishal Bhardawaj’s(Omkara,Kaminey fame) deadly mind,Ishqiya is a romantic crime thriller in which,the over dose romance literally kills the thrill which such movies should have.
Ishqiya is a story of two thieves, Babban(Arshad Warsi) and Khalujaan(Naseer Shah),who one day land up at Krishna’s(Vidya Balan) house in order to hide from a man whom they call Jija ji… Both of them fall in love with this modest ,simple looking girl,who eventually make both Babban and Kallujaan run for their lifes…
The film had everything in place…
1. Great Actors like Vidya Balan,Arshad Warsi and Naseer Sahab… All giving superlative performances
2. Witty and humourous dialouges… In my words,”Faddu dialouges hai yaar”
3. Beautiful music score and touchy lyrics by gulzar sir.
But,one thing that the film misses is a good STORYLINE… the film had absolutely no plot…
Twist pe Twist pe Twist pe Twist… Phew!!!
For me it was a BIG! BIG! BIG! disaster…
Still,u can watch it for Arshad Warsi’s brillant performance… He has a great comic timing…
And ofcourse,Vidya Balan was looking killer… A true Pataka!!!

Phew!!! I mean WTF!!! I seriously feel the roshans r getting greedy…They want to release the movie worldwide and even want a foreign distributor for it.
One more thing,they don’t want any competition from SRK’s My Name Is Khan or Amitabh Sir’s Teen Patti… R U afraid Hrithik???
Kites has reached the zenith of over hype… Come on Rakesh uncle… plz release this precious baby of your…
And what if the movie is a dud or flop at the box office!!!

Salman Khan called her destiny’s child and she couldn’t agree more. “I pinched myself everyday on the sets of Veer to check if I was actually acting opposite Salman,” says Zarine Khan, who is debuting in the film.
She is ready to make heads turn with her resemblance to Katrina Kaif. The model turned actress, who will be seen in the lead role opposite Salman Khan in the film VEER is all set for her big debut.
In an interview,this Mumbai girl,told reporter,
“Actually, I consider myself lucky to have got a role in the film VEER. As a model I was trying to find an opportunity to work in films when suddenly one day I got a call from Subhash Ghai who introduced me to Salman Khan”
“I have no filmy connections at all. I was modeling because I had to sustain my family”
‘My role is that of a princess in VEER. I had to do a lot of research for my act and even put on some weight to look the part. Before my modeling days I used to weight more than 100 kilos and I had to really work hard to look like a model. But, while playing my character in VEER I was told to gain a few more kilos. Initially, I was hesitant, but the director of the film Anil Sharma Ji wanted me to look the part. I was put on chocolate diet to gain weight to fit into my character”

Guys,just watched Geogre Clooney’s latest UP IN THE AIR…..A Satire on American companies in the time of recession…
Storyline:With a job that has him traveling around the country firing people, Ryan Bingham(Geogre Clooney) leads an empty life out of a suitcase, until his company does the unexpected: ground him.On his way he falls in love with a fellow traveller which turns his life upside down…
First of all,hats-off to Director Jason Reitman for making a “witty”,”emotional” and “full of life” drama on such a depressing topic…
Strong performances by the two beautiful ladies(Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick) might just be enough to get them a Oscar!!!
And about George Clooney…Well he is perfect yaar!!!
He fits into his role comfortably and has excellent comic timing.
Incidentally, Clooney is in a role that must have hit home. “You don’t want to get married?” his character is asked, and his reply is the same as Clooney’s always is: “Nope”…
Truly,he is like a “bottle of wine”…he keeps getting better with his age
The dialouges throughout the movie are fast, funny and they have a soul.
A special mention to the music score…It’s magical!!!
Favourite Scene:When an Air-Hostess offers Clooney a “CANCER”…Trust me,it’s damn funny!!!

Guys…This is the exclusive review of Sherlock Holmes…Just saw it at a special screening where I got to meet the fellow movie-buffs and geeks of New Delhi!!!
Coming from a director like Guy Ricthie(‘Snatch’ and ‘Rock and Rolla’ fame),who is considered the GOD of crime-thrillers…this one is a perfect movie…it has both humour and darkness to it…Guy Ricthie tussi great ho!!!
STORYLINE:Detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful and loyal partner Dr. Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England and literally destory it!!!
Robert Downey Jr. stars as our very own smartass detective Sherlock Holmes…for him nothing is impossible…He is brillant in his comic timing and really looks like a superstar…And yaar he has 8 packs also!!!
Jude Law as Dr.Watson was pitch-perfect…
In this cold winter of New Delhi…Rachel Mc Adams was the only “hot” thing present there…
Hate to say this…but the chemistry between Robert and Jude was even better than SRK-Kajol…lol
Though movie me flaws bhi the…The Script and Dialouges were not that strong…
Nevertheless watch it for:
1.Excellent Background Music
2.Robert-Jude’s ‘Dostana’ type chemistry…Hey!!!…vo gay nahi hai yaar…:)
3.Slow Motion explosion scene u will never forget…
